12 Telecommunication Tower Climbers/ Riggers

On behalf of our clients, we are seeking 12 Telecommunication Tower Climbers/ Riggers to climb Apartment & Condo buildings ranging from 150 to 250 feet.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Tower Climbers/Riggers play an integral role in erecting wireless towers.  Individuals will be working outside at various heights erecting pole, self-supporting and guy towers throughout Central and Eastern Ontario.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Tower erection – mounting (guy wire installation and tensioning)


• Installing and testing telecommunication equipment (antennas, microwave, lines, connectors)


• Lifting materials and equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of one year experience with tower erection and mounting


• Basic computer skills


• Fall arrest & protection certification (asset)


• Knowledge of safety regulations


• Able to work outside and at heights


• Valid driver license with the ability to travel


• Ability to travel is required as projects will be located throughout Central and Eastern Ontario.


• Must be able to operate a computer


• Movement of equipment and/or materials


• Frequent climbing of ladders and towers


• Attention to detail


• Required to stand or be suspended for extended periods of time (frequently).

Morning shifts:  Overtime may be required

Pay Structure:   $16 – $20+ (Based on experience)
