Job Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The position of Healthcare Workflow Consultant is responsible for all activity in assigned hospital accounts including product sales, service sales, development of the client relationship at all levels in the client organization. The Healthcare Workflow Consultant will work cooperatively with other members of the sales and operations teams to grow existing customers and create leads and appointments for the purpose of adding new customers.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate New business from active engagement with new and existing client base
- Manage a long and complex selling process often including arranging presentations, product demonstration, site visits and contract negotiations
- Answer customer questions regarding products and recommend solutions by conducting a detailed analysis of the customer’s existing clinical environment and design unique business and clinical workflows in order to optimize patient care
- Qualify opportunities by understanding customer needs, budgets, decision-makers, and timelines
- Use clinical experience and project related activities to identify new professional services opportunities and contribute to the professional services portfolio
- Use clinical and business expertise in terms of strategy, value, and how process improvement might come into play. Be an expert on collaborating with healthcare professionals to consult on best practices and ways to improve patient care
- Self-manage and balance priorities between the competing demands from multiple customer-facing projects, self-directed work, and support related activities
- Participate in the development of industry thought leadership
- Setup and maintain customer and prospect files in the Customer Relationship Management system
LOCATIONS:
- Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary
- Some travel required (15-25%)
REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE:
- Clinical experience, experienced with patient requirements and understanding the hospital corridors
- Consultative, “needs analysis” selling experience and style
- Success selling to clinical department heads and health care executives
- Understanding workflow consulting and analysis
- Record of achieving sales forecast and quota performance

EDUCATION AND LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree required and health care industry knowledge with direct experience developing clinical workflows and/or business rules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
