The Switchboard Operator is responsible for the smooth transition of telephone communication within the company.
Responsibilities:
• Answering high volume of inbound calls and maintaining a swift response rate
• Maintaining and updating the list of availability of staff continuously to receive incoming calls both internally and externally.
• Understanding and responding effectively to addressed requests over the phone
• Establishing and maintaining efficient working relationships with supervisors and co-workers so as to have knowledge of daily store events.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
• Impressive telephone etiquette.
• 2-5 years’ experience as a switchboard operator.
• Great communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Able to deliver excellent customer service, externally and internally.
• Able to react effectively and calmly in emergencies.
