POSITION SUMMARY


The successful candidates are expected to provide an exceptional client experience in the offer of home and automobile insurance products.

The successful candidates will complete tasks in a timely manner while contributing to the overall productivity and efficiency of the After Hours – Client Care Centre, in support of the Agency Network.

Successful candidates may be required to make outbound calls on hot leads as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish telephone rapport and build an environment conducive to client satisfaction, sales and retention.

  • Advise and educate clients on general property and casualty insurance products in support of the Agency network.

  • Drive the sale of products

    by

    identifying client needs while promoting the agent-client relationship.

  • Promote the company objective to be the leader in Client Experience.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post secondary education or a High School diploma and relevant work experience considered.

  • 1-2 years proven experience in a sales/results-driven environment.

  • 1-2 years in customer service is required, preferably in a Client Care Centre environment.

  • Experience in a multi-channel Client Care Centre would be an asset.

  • Previous insurance experience in various property and casualty disciplines, such as Underwriting,

  • Claims, Sales or Service

    would be an asset.

  • Strong computer navigation and keyboarding skills.

  • Advanced English communication skills, both oral and written.

  • French communication skills are an asset.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

As a condition of employment for this position, applicants are required to obtain and maintain a Property and Casualty license.

Training will be provided

to obtain the license.


Hours of Work:


  • The After Hours Client Care Centre is open during the following times:

Monday to Friday:

7am-10pm


Saturday:

8:00am-4:00pm


  • Representatives will be required to have flexibility in their availability to cover the business operating hours. Schedules will primarily be evenings and on most Saturday’s.

  • The Quote and Bind Team is primarily an After-Hours and Saturday operation that supports the Agency Network in the provinces of Ontario, Alberta and New Brunswick.

  • Successful candidates will be required to pass background security checks (including criminal, credit and references) and complete employment testing.

  • Successful candidates must be able to start Tuesday, August 2, 2016 and be fully available for the 12 week licensing and training program. Some travel will be required to our Mississauga location.

Other working conditions:

*As a condition of employment, this position requires the candidate to maintain a General Agent’s Licence. Mandatory paid training to obtain the General Agent’s Licence will be provided.

*Working Hours & Conditions: 7.5 hour shift for a 37.5 hour/workweek accommodating Client Care Centre hours:

Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Rotation

Overtime as required – Flexible working arrangements are also available if qualified.
