Reporting to
the Director of Direct Business, you will provide local coordination and
support to Dyson Canada customer service operations. Working in partnership
with the Independent Repair Centres (IRCs), Dyson repair workshop, and the
North American Contact Centre in Aurora, IL you will ensure exceptional
customer experience for Dyson Canada customers.
Market Overview Dyson Canada opened in 2006 with 10 employees and two vacuum
models. Within two months it had secured
the number one market share. There are now over 100 people selling vacuums,
fans, heaters, air purifiers and hand dryers coast to coast. We think big,
pushing into uncharted territory and strategizing new category expansions for
the coming years.
Based in downtown Toronto, our Head Office borders the
financial and theatre districts, surrounded by some of Canada’s most inspiring
urban engineering. From our open-plan office to social get-togethers,
everything is designed to build the team spirit and hunger that drives our
success. Outside Toronto, our sales representatives and demonstrators bring
Dyson technology to our consumers in their home provinces – from the Atlantic
to British Columbia.

Doing it well requires in-depth knowledge and a genuine passion for Dyson
technology. So we never miss an opportunity to talk about Dyson’s latest
machines – and frequently sell products as well as solve problems. From letters
and emails, to calls, online and social media, our team is constantly evolving
to give better service.
Accountabilities
- Manage all daily communication
with our Independent Repair Centres (IRCs) across Canada
- Review, analyse and approve all
claims submitted by the IRCs, including investigating any discrepancies.
- Act as the primary liaison between
our Contact Centre in Aurora, IL, Toronto Office, Dyson Repair Workshop and the
IRCs
- Maintain a close relationship with
both the Aurora Contact Centre and Stericycle French calls provider
- Report and analyze customer care
metrics, flagging any areas of concern
- Support the Director of Direct
Business with any projects and ad-hoc requests
- Process direct sales product refund requests in SAP
- Manage postal product
registrations and customer mail
- Participate in fraud check
investigations, alongside finance and supply chain teams
- Assist with direct orders
troubleshooting in SAP

we are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and collaborative professional who –
- Has some post-secondary education, ideally with a
concentration in Business Administration, Marketing or Commerce
- Has 2+ years’ experience in an administrative role,
ideally within a call-centre setting
- Is able to demonstrate analytical skills, along with an
ability to work independently
- Is resourceful, energetic with a can-do attitude and an
eye for the detail
- Is able to demonstrate strong written and verbal
communication skills, along with good phone etiquette
- Has good knowledge of MS Office applications,
specifically Excel, Outlook and Word
