Head Technician – Toronto, ON (Yorkdale)

In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Service Shop, including customer service, sales, loss prevention and product servicing.

What you’ll do

Customer Service:
Make customers a priority. This means setting them up with everything they need and need to know for their sport or activity as well as providing suggestions on applicable services that will make their activity enjoyable while keeping their safety top of mind.

Service Shop Operations:
Ensure all documentation (e.g. work orders) are completed accurately, processed and stored, as per the FGL standards. Ensure the service shop is kept clean, and tools and shop are carefully maintained. In addition you will be asked to provide support to store teams in all areas of floor and store maintenance.

Management / Leadership Skills:
Provide training and coaching to service shop team to ensure knowledge of team is up to date and services are delivered to ensure maximum safety of the customer and their experience as well as the team working in the shop. Develop department team through setting expectations, communication, coaching, feedback and ongoing support. Provides mentorship to teams and influences continuous growth, exemplifying FGL’s Leadership Brand.

Previous retail experience would be an asset

Similar technical experience with another company outside FGL
