Title: Sales Advisor

Reports to: Floor Manager

Overall Job Function: Provides an excellent shopping experience for COS customers, including product knowledge, customer service, merchandising, routines and maintenance.

Job Responsibility:

• Provides excellent customer service.


• Attends to the customers’ needs throughout the store: on the shop floor, in the fitting rooms and at the tills.


• Receive deliveries, opens and unpacks merchandise.


• Tags merchandise with security sensors.


• Keeps the stockroom organised, neat and clean according to guidelines.


• Stocks and replenishes the sales floor.


• Actively works with garments by re-folding, hanging or displaying to maximize selling opportunities.


• Keeps the selling area, tills and fitting rooms clean and well maintained.


• Provides excellent garment care.


• Has knowledge about COS display guidelines and visual standards.


• Serves customers on the tills, reports and handles all required transactions, issues the receipts and packs merchandise in a proper and efficient manner.


• Answers phone courteously and promptly.


• Stays familiar with how to execute price changes, transfers and till routines.


• Addresses loss prevention issues that may occur, following COS guidelines.


• Assists in training new Sales advisors.


• Stays familiar with internal policies and guidelines contained in the Employee Handbook.


• Uses teamwork to assist all employees in providing excellent customer service and maintaining store standards in all departments.


• Communicates professionally with all team members within the store.

Job Requirements:

• Friendly, professional personality.


• Proven ability to increase sales conversion turnover by active selling.


• Prior experience in retail preferred.


• Fast-paced but detail-oriented.


• Excellent customer service skills.


• Lively interest in fashion, design, life style.


• Good communication skills.


• Ability to work flexible hours.
