Administrative Coordinator - North American School of Podology - Toronto, ON

Our ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of administrative duties including sales and marketing skills. They should be people-focused and understand the importance of exceeding a customer’s expectations. The candidate needs to be detail- oriented, able to multi-task, a quick learner and more importantly a team player. They must have very strong communication skills (written and verbal), eager to learn and be able to thrive in a fast- paced environment with minimum supervision.
Candidate Responsibilities:


  • Field incoming calls and department requests

  • Register students for classes

  • Print and distribute materials required for classes

  • Coordinate classes, educators, and distributors

  • Process orders, shipping and receiving of small orders

  • Inventory, purchase orders, sales

  • Coordinating social media, phone, and email marketing campaigns

  • Keep literature and other marketing tools up-to-date

  • Follow up on calls and emails

  • Assist in website content creation

  • Continual product and application training

  • Administration duties

Key Competencies:


  • Detailed oriented, high level of accuracy

  • Problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in English

  • Ability to exercise good judgement, show initiative and be proactive

  • Initiative, integrity, adaptability, along with time-management skills

  • Must be PC literate with above-average knowledge in MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook

  • Excellent organization, analytical, planning and administrative skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Exceptional prioritization, customer-relationship skills

Skills considered an asset:


  • Working knowledge of CRM or Business Vision (inventory and order program)

  • Video editing experience

  • Proficiency using Google analytics

  • Webinar or online-training experience
