Job Overview:
Canadian MedicAlert is currently seeking a professional and experienced Bilingual Customer Service Representative on a contract basis to join our organization for an exciting new career. Our ideal candidates will have integrity, intelligence, and enthusiasm .


Key Responsibilities:


  • Answer calls professionally

  • Respond to customer inquiries

  • Handle and resolve customer complaints

  • Provide customers with product and service information

  • Enter customer information

  • Process orders, forms and applications

  • Identify and escalate priority issues

  • Route calls to appropriate resource

  • Follow up customer calls where necessary

Qualifications:


  • Excellent spoken and written English and French

  • Minimum high school diploma

  • At least 2 years of sales/call centre experience

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience

  • Proficient in relevant computer applications

  • Strong data entry/keyboarding skills

Preferred skills/competencies:


  • Positive energetic upbeat attitude and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Strong organizational skills, and must be a motivated self starter

  • Ability to think independently and creatively

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to develop strong customer loyalties

  • Eagerness to generate and follow up leads in a professional environment

  • Must be pleasant on the phone and have experience handling difficult customers

  • Charity organization/not-for-profit experience preferred

Hourly rate : to be based on experience
