Overview


Reporting to the Supervisor, Documentation, the Documentation Administrator is responsible for initiating and completing the mortgage discharge documentation process in the Customer Service department.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage and complete daily workflow actions

  • Prepare Mortgage Discharge Statements

  • Accurate calculation of payout penalty

  • Audit co-workers output of discharge statements to ensure accurate penalties, fees and notes in place

  • Prepare discharge documents within 30-60 days for all residential mortgages after loan is paid out

  • Manage and complete daily workflow actions

  • Cross train in the solicitor follow up department with respect to knowledge of the legal aspects of final documents

  • Complete special projects as assigned

Required Experience
Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Completed post secondary education and/or equivalent work experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • Ability to work quickly and in a timely manner

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm focus during hectic periods

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute and meet team goals and objectives
