Field Service Technician

Tenco Inc, a member of the Alamo Group of companies, offers a wide variety of snow and ice removal equipment for road and airport runway maintenance. With more than 40 years of experience and continuous growth, Tenco is a leader in its field.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a qualified Service Technician as part of or expansion into the Ontario Market.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• The service and repair of Tenco’s equipment in the field within the GTA


• Provide timely onsite service


• Ensure all equipment meets quality and safety standards


• Provide impeccable customer service at all times


• Ensure all appropriate follow up paperwork and computer procedures are completed

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience as an On Road Mechanic


• High school diploma or equivalent


• General knowledge and understanding of hydraulic systems


• Possess full G licence and have a clean driving record


• Welding knowledge and experience


• Ability to work with a variety of tools (hand, power, specialty)


• Able to work on calls, nights and week-ends during the winter season


• Intermediate computer skills in order to able to do diagnostic


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
