Under the direction of the
Senior Marketing Manager
, Manager- Client Lifecycle and Retention is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation and tracking of leading edge client lifecycle programs through various channels resulting in increased revenue and retention in Wealth Management.
Core to delivering this mandate is proven success in client lifecycle and retention marketing, campaign delivery and management, leads management, project management, financial product knowledge, strong communication skills and collaboration with senior management.
The ideal candidate is driven, entrepreneurial, creative and analytical. He/She will be expected to help define overarching goals, articulate tactical plans, and manage key business KPIs, ultimately with an eye on loyalty metrics, customer lifecycle and customer lifetime value.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Support developing of leading edge client lifecycle programs
- Working with Senior Marketing Manager, utilize marketing insights to identify opportunities and programs that would result in increased Share of wallet and retention
- Develop and formulate business cases and its related financial metrics to support decision-making and obtain approval to execute new programs
- Present findings to key stakeholders and gather further feedback and/or requirements and identify issues and challenges
- Conduct research to support the planning process, including competitive intelligence, consumer insights, market trends, and other elements
Campaign implementation and tracking
- Lead implementation of related marketing campaigns by leveraging change management skills and capabilities to ensure alignment and engagement of partners
- Initiate and finalize campaign design, timelines, offers/treatments, fulfilment and other tracking metrics
- Manage day-to-day requirements to deliver campaigns, including planning/delivery, copywriting, stakeholder reviews/approvals and translation
- Present and communicate campaign strategy and plans to stakeholders to secure engagement and support and manage internal communications plans to drive employee engagement
- Report results and outcomes of the strategy to partners, executives and executive councils
Manage budget
- Manage marketing budget allocated for customer lifecycle management
- Provide reporting on spend to date and status against plan on regular basis
Risk Management & Control
- Work with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure consumer-facing materials are compliant with current rules and regulations.
- Manage audit requirements: ensure appropriate approvals are documented.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE:
- Undergraduate degree in business, commerce, marketing or a related discipline
- Experience in developing strategies and managing marketing initiatives and campaigns from concept to execution, typically gained from 5 + years of experience in a marketing strategy, customer strategy, product management, or consulting type role
- Experience working with a variety of marketing disciplines, including customer relationship management programs, digital marketing, direct marketing, marketing analytics, advertising, and market research
- Experience effectively managing agency partners, digital media networks and agencies, following up on performance and making effective decisions on value of placements
- Knowledge of Internet and mobile technologies, standards, and best practices, including media and site targeting, tagging, tracking and content delivery is an asset
- Marketing experience within a larger corporation and/or with a sales force would be advantageous
- Investment/financial industry knowledge/experience also beneficial

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to identify relevant information and define root issues
- Well-developed project management skills, including the ability to effectively manage ambiguity and solve problems creatively.
- Excellent relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to consult, influence, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across levels of seniority and business groups
- Very strong ability to influence people at all levels of the organization; proven change agent
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with an emphasis on presentation development skills.
- Superior time management and multi-tasking skills – must be able to manage high work volumes while maintaining a high standard of executional excellence and attention to detail
- Numerate and comfortable with financial calculations
- Ability to work independently, and collaboratively with teams that have diverse skills, knowledge, and educational backgrounds
- Results-oriented, driven and self-motivated with a commitment to excellence
