Landscape Maintenance Worker - May to Dec - Etobicoke
Small landscape maintenance company with clients in western Etobicoke is looking for an enthusiastic, physically fit individual with gardening and lawn mowing experience. The individual must be able to travel to a designated area, near the Kipling subway station, for pick-up at a given start time.
– must be able to work in all weather conditions, including: high heat, cold, rain, snow
– must be able to work long hours with schedule changes with little notice
– start times vary from as early as 6:30 am and end times vary to as late as 5:00 pm
– there may be some weekend hours available (voluntary)
– approximately 25-30 hours per week until December
– looking for commitment to work until December
– starting rate at $14.00 per hour
– bonus $1.00 per each hour worked, paid in December, if the person stays with the company for the entire season until December
– must be able to lift up to 60lbs
– should be able to recognize weeds from cultivated plants and have some gardening experience
– must have a SIN number
– must have a mobile phone so that the person may be easily contacted
– able to communicate in English (individuals who speak Ukrainian are also welcome to apply)
– non-smoker preferred
