Salary: $14/hr

Job Type: Event Hospitality Set Up – Flexible Part-time Position

Event Porter Job Description

– Event setup and tear down of events, working with catering and supplier deliveries

– Cover other positions when necessary (coat check, ticket sales, etc)

– Some heavy lifting required

– Must be flexible to work weekdays weekends, as well as early mornings and late nights

– Attention to detail and awareness of your surroundings for security and safety reasons

– Be the right-hand to the Event Coordinator

Dress Code:

– All staff are to ensure that their uniforms are presentable at all times
- Shirts and pants clean, pressed and wrinkle free
- Clean hair and tied back if long, clean cut or neatly shaven

– No visible body piercing or tattoos

– Limited jewelry to reflect a corporate image

Not required, but definitely an asset:

– Have some event experience

– Be in good physical (and mental) shape, as this can be a physically laborious position
