About the Role
CIHI is seeking a Manager, Ontario Stakeholder Engagement in our Toronto office, to support and progress CIHIs strategic directions in the Ontario Health Care setting. We are interested in experienced health information leaders to cultivate and interact with key external stakeholders to identify regional needs and collaborate with internal stakeholders in program areas to address those needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for individuals who can contribute to:
Meeting CIHIs strategic goals as outlined in our strategic plan by contributing to the development of national approaches to information, analyses and data to meet the needs of external stakeholders, while building on the strength of existing information systems
Supporting the implementation and deployment of CIHI products and services in Ontario by identifying information needs and analytical requirements and determining potential data sources
Developing and supporting consultation and outreach efforts to update and elicit feedback from key stakeholders
Promotion of existing CIHI initiatives and programs and providing recommendations for new program offerings
Knowledge & Experience
Master’s degree in health information, health or a health-related discipline
At least 5 years related experiences in health services delivery at progressively senior positions and at least 3 years management experience
Demonstrated knowledge of provincial/regional issues as they relate to health and health information.
Broad knowledge of CIHI’s programs and activities to apply this knowledge to situations within the region.
Demonstrated analytical and research skills.
Strong working knowledge of or ability to quickly and comprehensively learn CIHI’s data holdings.
Strong facilitation, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to utilize sound judgement in establishing and maintaining client relationships.
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven skills in consulting and negotiating.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Fluency in both official languages is an asset
Ability to meet travel requirements.
