In your role, you will:
– Develop and analyze maintenance engineering data in support of Maintenance Programs activities;
– Work with Suppliers, Operators and Regulatory Authorities to establish and maintain aircraft maintenance program requirements and supporting services;
– Prepare technical reports/presentations in support of various Maintenance Engineering activities;
– Support Customer requests (internal/external) for maintenance engineering deliverables such as analysis, estimates, proposals and design reviews;
– Participate in Product Definition Reviews, design reviews and other technical meetings to identify potential in-service issues and propose/discuss/initiate solutions;
– Work with Airlines to optimize their maintenance programs to suit their operational characteristics
– Work with Operators and suppliers to collect maintenance engineering data and monitor deliverables, and;
– Work closely with the Technical Services Team Members to identify high maintenance cost drivers and initiate innovative solutions to reduce those costs.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
– You hold a University Degree in Engineering, or equivalent with experience in aircraft maintenance and/or engineering;
– You have strong analytical abilities and proven experience using statistics to resolve engineering issues;
– You have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
– You have a good working knowledge and/or understanding of MSG-3. Experience in development of maintenance programs would be a definite asset;
– You have excellent working knowledge of the MS Office suite products (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.). Knowledge of Visual Basic software is considered an asset;
– Maintenance planning, reliability, or engineering experience with an Airline or Original Equipment Manufacturer is highly desirable.
– Occasional travel will be required.
