Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm
Although this posting indicates an initial area of assignment and shift, the Hospital reserves the right to assign to other areas of assignment and shifts as deemed necessary.
Here’s What You’ll Get To Do:
- Provision of required instruments and supplies for surgical procedures as per Operating Room daily activities and special requests
- Follow guidelines as required by CSA, PIDAC, hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and protocols
- Strict adherence to infection control and quality assurance standards
- Work effectively both independently and within a team
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Post-Secondary Sterile Supply Processing Certificate including clinical practicum placement (Centennial College or equivalent)
- Completion of ORCSAO (CS Techniques) Course with a minimum of 1 year full-time related experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Previous experience or job knowledge
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Strong customer service commitment with attention to accuracy in a fast paced physically demanding environment
- Ability to adapt to change and problem solving skills are assets
