Registered Physiotherapist - Umana Health - Toronto, ON

We are currently looking for a Physiotherapist to join our growing team. The clinics are owned and operated by a Registered Physiotherapist. We are a multi-disciplinary health clinic with a focus on leading a healthy lifestyle in all aspects. You will be working with Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, Nutritionists, Personal Trainers and Dieticians among other practitioners to rehabilitate, educate and motivate patients to reach their goals.

We believe strongly that exercise/movement and diet are the long term solution to most of our patient’s problems. Our clinics are located inside gym facilities with 20,000+ sq/ft of equipment. Our case load is 90% Private with 5% MVA and 5%WSIB.
Ideal candidate:
– Registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
– 1-2 years experience in an outpatient setting (although new grads are welcome)
– Degree in Kinesiology and Personal Training certificate preferred – Strong exercise background (CSCS designation an asset)
– Ability and desire to work in a team
– Self motivated and constantly looking to improve skills
– Excellent written and verbal English skills
– Ability to clearly and efficiently communicate
– We are NOT interested in candidates that use heat/laser/cold/Ultrasound/IFC etc on most of their patients. Manual therapy, movement screening and exercise is our primary focus.
