Responsibilities
- Coordinate with business analysts and development team to determine and verify requirements and design specifications;
- Work in collaboration with project management and other business stakeholders to provide work estimates for QA tasks;
- Develop Test Plans and Test Cases within the required timeframe and budget;
- Write positive, negative, smoke and regression test scripts to test product functionality and integration with dependencies;
- Write, execute and update automated test scripts;
- Responsible for following established SDLC methodologies;
- Participate in all phases of the project life cycle and promotes QA Center of Excellence Quality Assurance’s best practices and standards;
- Identify risks and escalate to project leadership on a timely basis;
- Work with business and technical personnel (i.e. Development, IT Operations) to troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues quickly and efficiently;
- Provide updates on tasks via discussions and status reports in written, verbal or graphical form as required;
- Provide practical QA approach based on industry best practices to a wide range of complex problems.
Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology or in a related field;
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in QA methodologies, QA testing, development of test plans, test cases and test scripts;
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a senior QA Analyst capacity;
- Experience using visual studio and coded UI;
- Demonstrated planning and project management skills;
- Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of experience;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work closely with a project team and with internal staff and external stakeholders;
- Understanding of the various aspects of software development life cycle (SDLC);
- Excellent oral and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
