Launched in 2011, iQ has quickly become one of the fastest growing healthy quick-serve restaurant concepts in Toronto. By bringing together beautiful store design, world-class service and delicious and beautifully presented food, iQ is set on becoming the most innovative retailer of healthy food on the planet. iQ currently operates five stores in Toronto with more slated for 2016. iQ is ultimately looking to take the concept international to markets across the globe. You will be joining one of the fastest growing healthy quick-serve restaurant concepts in Canada.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Bussers occupy a central and integral role in upholding our company’s

commitment to maintaining a neat and tidy environment. In our ongoing

pursuit to be the cleanest restaurant in the community, Bussers are

tasked with ensuring that our restaurants are always sparkling. It’s

imperative that our high expectations for this role are met with

enthusiasm and commitment.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPSONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the overall appearance of the restaurant is impeccable — clear tables, sweep floors and organize tables + chairs frequently and effectively, ensure washrooms are clean and well-maintained

• Restock + replenish fridges, ensuring that we are rotating products appropriately (FIFO)

• Manage the storage room and assist in putting away orders

• Assist fellow team members by acting as a “runner” when required

• Extremely well organized (you should be one of the most organized people you know!)

• Obsession over cleanliness

• Lives ‘hustle’

• Able to lift minimum 25 kg’s

• Neat and tidy personal appearance + hygiene

• Strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done properly

• Possess a positive attitude, as well as an eagerness to learn and develop

• Prior experience as a busser or in a restaurant environment is preferred but not required

• Able to lift minimum 25 kg’s

This is a full-time position, and applicants must be available to work lunch and evening shifts, Monday to Friday.
