EXCITING PRINT MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT SEEKING CONTRACT TO HIRE MACHINE OPERATOR IN ETOBICOKE.
POSITION: Machine Operator
SHIFT: Rotating Continental Shift, 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am (5 weeks nights, 3 weeks days)
LOCATION: Etobicoke (Islington and 401)
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Operating Stacking machine (newspapers come off of the line and are stacked into bundles by this machine)
COMFORTABLE IN A VERY FAST PACE ENVIRONMENT, Know and meet customer deadlines!
*Set up and troubleshooting of machine
Fulfilling other roles to maximize efficiences in the department including walkie, feeder and pile-down)
Lifting up to 40lbs to stack the paper bundles correctly

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
At least 1 YEAR of experience operating a machine from set up to completion (BINDERY OR AUTOMOTIVE SET UP would be an asset)
MUST be mechanically inclined and able to PASS A MECHANICAL APTITUDE TEST
Set up and troubleshooting capabilities
Ability to drive Counterbalance and Walkie-they will train if needed
Excellent communication skills and able to work in a fast pace changing environment
