Order Picker - Material Handler

Our rapidly growing Mississauga Client is looking for a Order Picker/Material Handler employee to help their company. This is a permanent position as we are considering candidates with the qualifications to come in for interviews

PERMANENT POSITION: $14.00/HOUR

MAIN INTERSECTION: DERRY AND TOMKEN

POSITION: Shipper

SHIFT HOURS: 10:30AM – 7:00PM

PAY RATE: $14.00/HOUR

DUTIES:
– Perform inventory and weighing/checking materials
– Pick orders and prepare for shipping, including: stacking, wrapping, and crating products
– Pick material from supply area as required
– Put away received materials to proper storage locations
– Keep area clean
– Detail orientated
– 100% Literacy in English and Math
– MUST HAVE great attention to detail
– MUST BE punctual and dependable and ALWAYS ON TIME

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
– Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a warehouse/distribution atmosphere
– Must have Strong Verbal/Written English Language Communication
– WHIMS Certification
– A minimum secondary school education
– Ability to work independently
– Able to process clerical document and effectively use computer
– Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
– Must be able to carry and move equipment supplies in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
– Detail orientated
– 100% Literacy in English and Math

– MUST BE punctual and dependable and ALWAYS ON TIME
