Key responsibilities of a Shoppers Drug Mart Cash Manager include:

• Ensures that cash staff comply with store policies and operating procedures.


• Oversees human resource functions of cash staff, including but not limited to, scheduling hours and vacations, training, coaching and performance management.


• Resolves customer complaints ensuring exceptional customer service.


• Maintains and controls cash registers and works with Front Store Manager in order to maintain balanced inventory.


• Ensures all loss prevention systems and procedures are performed according to established guidelines.


• Plans, organizes and supports all promotions in co-operation with other members of the Management Team

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post secondary education;


• proven leadership and staff management abilities;


• superior interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication skills;


• thorough understanding of and ability to execute merchandising standards;


• efficient time management abilities; effective organization and planning skills;


• computer literacy;


• commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

WORK HOURS:

Flex schedule – some weekends and evenings
