Electrician - Construction & Maintenance 309A - Marnoch Facilities Maintenance (MFM) - Greater Toronto Area, ON

Marnoch Facilities Maintenance is a commercial multi-trade contractor and has been in business for over 25 years. We currently have an opening for a full-time Licensed Electrician (309A). We are seeking a motivated, professional self-starter interested in joining our growing team!

Summary:

• Electrician Trade Certification


• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Journeyperson running jobs


• Experience with solar, high rise, and commercial service work


• Ability to work various locations, day/night/weekend shifts


• Ability to travel for work (GTA and Ontario)

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications


• Install underground wiring and cables


• Install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes


• Splice, join and connect wires


• Install surface mount and/or overhead cables


• Conduct preventative maintenance programs


• Lighting repair and maintenance


• Install large scale solar systems


• Professionalism in customer service


• Keep maintenance reports and documentation


• Ability to instruct apprentices and supervise other workers when needed

Required:

• Own transportation, valid driver’s license, and driver’s abstract


• Tools, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat


• WHIMIS, Fall Arrest/Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platforms
