Ram Iron & Metal Inc. is currently looking to hire full time and permanent Heavy Equipment Operator for day and afternoon shift.
HOURS OF WORK: 2 shifts are: Morning shift: Monday to Friday 5:45am to 3:30pm,alternating Saturdays 5:45am to 12pm or Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 12:00am

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Distinguish between different types of material
- Load and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow work order and complete tasks with accuracy
- Perform preventative maintenance as required
- Perform your work in various parts of the yard
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma is an asset
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION
- Two (2) years of experience with heavy equipment.
- Heavy Equipment Certificate in an asset.
- Experience in operating material handler a definite asset
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must be able to operate heavy equipment
- Must have the ability to operate equipment controls (i.e. windshield, backing, joy stick, etc)
- Must be mechanically inclined (know when to fuel, grease, check cracks, etc)
- Ability to work outside in all weather condition * Ability to operate with dexterity and safety
- Ability to adapt and adjust to various other assignments as requested by the Supervisor
