Housekeeper/Nanny – Keele & Bloor (3 minute walk from Keele subway station)

We’re a busy High Park family of 4 with 2 kids aged 11 (boy) and 9 (girl) plus a large, very friendly, super furry dog need a full-time household manager/nanny.

Looking for a high energy, proactive and organized individual to manage all household responsibilities including cleaning, cooking, organizing family’s day to day life, dog walking, gardening and running errands.

Key roles:
• Cleaning (keeping the house neat, tidy and clean)
• Organizing daily life (organizing the household with the goal of making daily life simple and easy)
• General organization of the household — maintaining a calendar of kids’ calendars, forms to be signed, etc.
• Meal prep/passion for cooking
• Daily dog-walking (a large, furry, super-friendly Leonberger)
• Running household errands
• Light gardening

Pay: $15/hour + paid vacation when our family is on vacation

Hours:
• 8:00 — 5:30 (9.5 hours per day)
OR
• For the right candidate, potentially could arrange part time hours with fixed hours between 8-9 am and 3:30 — 5:30 pm with flexibility to choose additional hours in between.

• Police check and references required for successful candidate

The following would be considered an asset:
• A drivers licence and preferably have own car to do short errands in the neighbourhood (all within 2 km drive) — we will pay for gas
• Ability to stay overnight with children while parents are out of town is an asset (usually 1 – 2 weeks per year) — will pay extra for overnight stays
• Experience in a similar position or a position requiring similar skill set
