TENT INSTALLERS 2016

Music and food festivals, corporate functions, openings, fundraisers and gala events rely on professional suppliers and flawless execution to make the right impression. Since 1988, Varsity Tent & Event Rentals has put up well over 50,000 tents; from simple backyard parties to complex festivals with hundreds of different installations.

We have provided tenting for some of Ontario’s largest festivals and events including: AC/DC concert, Riot Fest, VELD Fest, Bestival, Toronto Taste, Toronto’s Festival of Beer, Toronto Urban Roots Festival (TURF), Electric Elements, and many more.

Position: Tent Installer

Tent Installers are an integral part of the Varsity team. They will work closely with the Operations Manager and Warehouse Manager. A Tent Installer that is able to work within a fast-paced environment with little to no supervision is best suited for this position.

Eligible applicants must possess the following skill sets:
– Flexible schedule
– Availability to work long hours
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
– Hardworking, self-motivated, team player
– Used to working in an unsupervised environment

*** Valid G-class or D-class licence is an asset.

Duties include:
– Preparation and clean-up of sites
– Positioning of materials and erecting tents
– Identifies and performs work in the spirit of teamwork

This position is for summer employment and can be full-time or part-time.
