What is the Opportunity?
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen at RBC to join the Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be directly responsible for driving business results for Technology partners. You will be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analysis for strategic sourcing and vendor management operations, and to communicate results to direct and enable decision making.
What will you do?
- Partner with supplier team to lead the financial strategy advice and on-going business model optimization to achieve financial objectives.
- Create value through process improvement and building financial tools that maximize organizational efficiency.
- Lead deep dives related to Technology spend as they pertain to various management and leadership reporting on a regular basis.
- Manage and develop the reporting of technology charges in correlation to investment decisions.
- Validate benefits realized from negotiations, develop savings pipeline and forecast spend.
- Other ad-hoc analysis as required.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- Demonstrate strong communication skills/can present to functional teams and management.
- Able to work with limited direction, can understand and link strategy to underlying drivers of the business.
- 5+ years of financial analysis and management reporting experience.
Nice to Have
- CA, CMA, CGA, CFA, MBA or equivalent
- Knowledge of IT functions and/or RBC financial systems
