Sourcing Specialist - RBC - Toronto, ON

What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a collaborative, energetic and people oriented individual to join RBC’s Talent Sourcing team. As a Sourcing Specialist you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to source and attract qualified, diverse talent who meet RBC’s critical talent needs.


What will you do?


Partner with Senior Recruiter and Sourcing Program Manager to create sourcing and recruitment strategies.

Identify, attract and engage talent who are not typically found through traditional, active sourcing channels.

Evaluate motivators of passive and active candidates as well as influence candidate decision making.

Effectively manage ongoing relationships with external candidates, as well as internal stakeholders.

Utilize Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Leverage a variety of databases and Social network tools to identify talent for strategic and hard to fill roles.

Source and pre-screen candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, RBC ATS and employee referrals.

Prepare detailed sourcing reports to help the recruitment team identify effective sourcing channels

Report on effective recruiting trends and recommend specific courses of action based on market data.


What do you need to succeed?


Must-have:
2+ years’ relevant recruitment experience with a primary focus on sourcing, identification, and candidate pipeline development.

Deep expertise with Boolean logic and all associated internet mining techniques; strong knowledge using various web-based search databases, professional networking sites.

Highly organized with a sense of urgency; ability to prioritize workload based on business demand.

Detail, process and metrics driven to achieve goal; track record in creative problem solving; solutions oriented; ability to be a self-starter/self-motivated and driven.

A strong affinity towards client service; strong relationship building and management skills.

Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and customer relationship management systems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical and judgement skills

An undergraduate degree


Nice to have:
Experience in financial services/banking
