Store co-Lead (supervisory) - Yonge/Bloor - 180 Smoke Vape Store - Toronto, ON

Role Specifics:

Hours: 30 – 40 hours

Minimum Experience:
3 years of retail sales experience + with minimum 2 year in Supervisory role overseeing a team of 5+ with proven ability to produce increases in sales and KPI’s. Knowledge of Vape products benefitial.

Location:
180 Smoke Vape Store @ 657 Yonge St.

The role will be as a supervisory Team co-Lead for our flagship location in downtown Toronto. In partnership with the Store Lead you will be expected to meet or surpass all comparative Sales and KPI results consistently through effectively developing and motivating your direct reports.

You will be expected to manage day-to- day operations of this location, including but not limited to:
*Delivering improvements with overall store sales performance
*Leading all training and development initiatives
*Setting and followng up w accountability practices
*Creating a consitent top level customer experience atmosphere which fosters team buy in
*Shrink control/Loss Prevention practices as directed
*Working with key corporate partners to drive brand and location awareness through market specific campaign
*Communicating with purchasing and allocation to maintain efficient store inventory levels; and
*All other store related ancillary functions.

*Soliciting feedback and making recommendations for both staffing and business needs

You will report to the Corporate Retail Operations team. You will be expected to understand and/or learn Vape products, how they function, maintenance and possess a confident understanding of the Vaping marketplace. You will advise our loyal customers on the best products suited to their needs and address typical issues customers face when vaping through initial sales approach and after sale care. Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years total retail experience with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.


• Must have experience managing a team of at least 5 subordinates.


• Experience in consumer electronics or similar products is a bonus but not a requirement.


• Excellent listening and communication skills, able to effectively transfer information to the customers and colleagues while making them feel comfortable and motivated


• Self motivated, able to carry out projects AZ without being managed


• A creative and results oriented professional with ability and track record of producing positive bottom line results
