Order Selector

Transline Group Canada is currently recruiting for Order Selectors / Picker positions for our client located in Ajax, ON.

Position Type: Full-time permanent positions. Opportunity for continued growth!

Pay Rate:  $17.19 to $17.69 per hour for Full-time.

Schedule: Must be available to work a mix of Day, Afternoon and Night shifts and available to work weekends.

An Order Selector works individually selecting full case grocery items from a warehouse pick slot. The selector fits these items on a pallet, once the pallet is complete, they are wrapped for shipment. Radio communications (headsets) are used to communicate what items are to be selected and palletized.

Job Duties & Description:

• Operating a triple-pallet jack (free training provided!).


• Manually lifting 20 to possibly over 60 lbs to load pallets.


• Using an RF Scanner and wrapping the pallets for shipment.


• Delivering the pallets to the Loading Areas for shipment.

The position requires the ability to work in a fast paced and physically demanding environment. Physical demands include, but aren’t limited to standing, walking, riding, lifting, carrying, bending, pulling, and gripping items from 20 to possibly over 60 lbs.

Other Requirements:

• Radio communications training provided for free!


• Experience palletizing. Not required but is considered an asset.


• Experience working with productivity metrics.


• RF / radio communications experience is considered an asset.


• Order picking experience in a retail environment is considered and asset.


• Criminal background checks will be completed for the position.
