Position Requirements:

* Proof of completion of high school

* Three satisfactory work references

* Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

* Ability and flexibility to work ALL shifts including days, afternoons, overnight and weekend shifts. (Shift times vary from 8.5 hours to 12.5 hours depending upon team assignment.)

* Willing adherence to good manufacturing requirements including the removal of all jewelry, piercings, false nails, nail polish, false eyelashes etc.

* Wearing safety shoes and company provided personal protective equipment at all times on the production floor, including uniform, safety goggles, hairnets, and beard nets.

The following qualifications and experience are considered an asset:

* Manufacturing production experience

* Ability to work accurately, keeping up with the fast paced production line.

* Multi-tasking skills demonstrating excellent attention to detail

* Listens and follows instructions and procedures as directed

* Learns new processes and procedures quickly

* Works well both independently, and as part of a team

* Ability to work successfully in different environments (loud, wet, dry, hot, humid, cold)

* Demonstrates excellent past attendance and punctuality record

* Previous experience in a food / pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment

* Knowledge of Food Safety, GMP’s, HACCP and other manufacturing policies

* Previous cleaning experience working with chemicals, steam, foam, etc.
