What is the opportunity?

You will be involved in all hands on QA activities and will be responsible for writing and executing test scripts to fully test an application and corresponding data in order to ensure functional requirements are met.


What will you do?


  • Analyze E2E functional requirement or Data mapping documents to identify test requirements

  • Assist with preparation of QA artifacts including, but not limited to test approach, QA test Plan, defect tracking report

  • Participate and / or review of documentation and / or test results in all QA test phases such as Requirements validation, Integration and Functional testing

  • Follow the defined QA processes to ensure all standards are met

  • Develop the Test Script /Scenario; Execute Test Script/Scenario

  • Coordinate/Document actual test results and responsible for the end-to-end tracking of all issues found

  • Communicate status to QA leaders and project manager

  • Work with the developers, BSA and Global business users to successfully test business requirements for compliance functions

  • Ensure test cases and defects logged to defect tracking system and resolved in a timely manner

  • Assist in defect investigation and escalation

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have


  • 3+ years of experience in banking/financial industry preferred – Capital Market in particular (e.g. Equity, Fixed Incomes or Options)

  • 3+ years of SQL experience a must

  • 3+ years of experience in capital markets products(EQ, FI or Sales Practice) and/or trade processes preferred

  • 3+ years of experience with QA analysis and software development

  • 3+ years of experience of working with large quantity of data (Data Mart, Data Warehouse)

  • 3+ years of experience with Python, VB, Unix, .Net or Java scripts preferred

  • Ability to work with a global business group and requirements

  • Expertise and knowledge in testing approaches, methodologies, controls and overall Quality Assurance discipline

  • Ability to understand data base models, data mapping and data warehouse

  • Experience in working with large projects with multiple data sources and system interfaces

Nice-to-have

  • Experience and familiarity with the software development lifecycle
