About the Role


We are seeking a Research Associate to join our growing Toronto Research & Consulting team. In this role, you will champion the power of our technology platforms and research solutions. You will be the day-to-day contact for our Insight Community clients and will be responsible for helping them effectively leverage our platform to execute market research activities and engage with community members on an ongoing basis. You will also be working with senior leaders at the forefront of market research, to manage all stages of the research project cycle including proposals, research design, operational execution, analysis and reporting, as well as nurturing and developing strategic client relationships.


Responsibilities


  • Act as the primary point of contact for our Insight Community client relationships.

  • Provide superior client service to support ongoing client management and research needs

  • Work with senior leaders to proactively plan and execute engagement activities with panel members

  • Project management

  • Develop and manage research plans

  • Program and deploy insight activities

  • Research management

  • Support ongoing analysis and reporting

  • Participate in research design and execution

Requirements


This role needs the right mix of skills, are you who we are looking for? Are you an effective project manager and detail oriented? Are you comfortable with new technologies and able to multitask? Are you curious about the “why” behind the numbers and interested in using insights to tell clients a story? The ideal candidate will have:


  • Post-secondary educational degree

  • Minimum 1 year of project management or market research experience

  • An aspiration to be a strategic market researcher;

  • Exposure to both quantitative and qualitative methodologies including questionnaire design, analysis, and project management.

  • A passion for data and an innate ability to find the story in the numbers

  • Strong aptitude for technology and ability/desire to learn new software and techniques.

  • Fluency in social media and interest in online market research methodologies including online insight communities.

  • Driven self-starter with deep intellect and the ability to execute.

  • Strong analytical & writing skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel)
