What is the opportunity?

In this entry-level role on the Corporate Actions Research team, you will analyze and verify the contents of all information received from vendors to ensure that only quality and accurate information is disclosed/released to our clients. Specifically, you will be reviewing corporate action notices from multiple vendors, setting up notices and ensuring they are verified internally for accuracy, consistency and completeness, as well as assisting with the flow of inquiries received within the Research team.


What will you do?


  • Ensure corporate action notices are set up in a “client friendly” manner enabling clear understanding, clarity and accuracy

  • Monitor appropriate Notifications Queues throughout the day to ensure all outstanding items are actioned or escalated for review

  • Respond to internal or external client inquiries ensuring responses are executed in a professional manner and consistent with the timelines as set out in policies and procedures

  • Identify procedures and processes which may require improvement and recommend changes that will enhances operational efficiency

What do you need to succeed?

Must-haves:


  • 1-2 years of financial operations background in the securities industry

  • Some understand of Corporate Actions principles

  • Strong MS Office (Word, Excel & PPT) skills

Nice-to-haves:

  • Post secondary education in business or a related discipline

  • Completed the CSC

  • Depository or corporate actions experience in a custodian environment
